Look inside a GLB.
Turn it into an STL.

It runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

What it does, and what it doesn’t

It reads a self-contained GLB (one file, textures and data embedded) and shows it lit from a few sides. The numbers are counted from the file itself. When you export, every mesh in the scene is merged into one STL or OBJ.

  • Units. GLB stores metres. Slicers read STL as millimetres, so pick millimetres for printing or a 1-metre model arrives 1 mm tall.
  • Up axis. GLB is Y-up, most slicers are Z-up. The Z-up box turns the model so it sits flat on the plate.
  • Colour and animation. STL and OBJ here carry shape only. For painted work, keep the GLB.
  • Compressed files. GLBs squeezed with Draco or Meshopt aren’t opened. Re-export without compression.

Where a GLB comes from

Clayground’s browser studio and Quest app both export GLB. Blender, Nomad Sculpt and most scanning apps do too. If you sculpt in Clayground and want it in Blender, see exporting a GLB to Blender. For printing, print your fella covers wall thickness and hollowing.
