The app
Clayground lets you sculpt with volumetric clay. Add material, carve it away, smooth surfaces, move shapes, and paint directly on the model.
It runs on the headset without a PC. You can work in a virtual space or use mixed reality to see your room while sculpting.
Working on a sculpt
Layers, captured stamps, symmetry and splines help you build up a sculpt. Frame-by-frame animation gives it life. Export GLB or OBJ and download your finished work over local Wi-Fi.
The canvas uses sparse storage so you can sculpt beyond a fixed box. Available memory and detail still limit how much clay a headset can hold; we’re working on making larger projects more comfortable.
Development
I’m still working on Clayground. Current priorities include handling larger projects, improving exports, and making the tools easier to use. Feedback from people sculpting in the app helps me decide what to work on next.
Website sharing and optional Monad minting are planned. Neither is required to sculpt or export, and they aren’t live yet.
