How Sculpt-off works
Sculpt-off is a drawing game, but with clay. Everyone gets the same silly prompt, like a potato with big dreams, a shy volcano or a pigeon with a job interview, and 90 seconds to sculpt it on their phone. Then all the sculpts go up on the big screen and everyone votes for their favourite. Three rounds, most points wins.
Nobody needs to be good at art. The clay is soft and forgiving, the clock is short, and the funniest sculpt usually wins, not the tidiest.
How to play
- Open clayvr.com/play on a laptop or TV and press Host a game. Choose Sculpt-off.
- Everyone joins on their phone with the four-letter code or the QR code.
- The prompt appears. Each phone opens a little clay studio, and the 90 seconds start once every phone is ready, so nobody loses time to a slow load.
- Sculpt! Build up clay, smooth it, pull it into shape and add colour.
- Everything shows on the big screen. You get 30 seconds to vote for your favourite (not your own).
- Points go up: 100 for each vote, and 50 more for the round's favourite. After three rounds, the highest score wins.
Just the two of you: Guess what it is
With two players a vote can only ever tie, so the game changes. Each of you sculpts a different secret prompt, then guesses the other's from four choices. A right guess scores for the guesser (more for a quick one) and for the sculptor, because their sculpt said it clearly.
Keep what you made
Proud of one? After the round, tap Keep my sculpt and it's saved to the browser studio on your phone as a named copy. Keep working on it, record a little clip of it, or open it from the Smoosh menu and see it fight. Nothing is kept unless you tap.

Questions people ask
Is Sculpt-off like Pictionary or Drawful?
It's in the same family: everyone makes the prompt, then everyone judges. The difference is that you sculpt 3D clay on your phone instead of drawing.
Do I need to know how to sculpt?
No. Your phone opens the studio's simple tools, and 90 seconds is short for everyone. Most sculpts are lumpy, and that's half the fun. If you want to get better, the character guide has tips.
How many people can play?
2 to 8. With exactly two, it switches to Guess what it is.
Can we play remotely?
Yes. Share the host screen on a video call, and everyone joins with the code on their own phone.
