About Fix It
Fix It is a puzzle game where you solve each level by sculpting a shape. Fella, a tiny clay person, is stuck behind a wall or a river of jam. You get a lump of clay, the same tools as the Clayground studio, and one question: will it work?
Nothing is a template. The game reads your shape (how tall, how long, how flat, how smooth, how matched, how colourful) and then runs Fella across it with the real platformer controls. If he gets the golden snack, it works, whatever it looks like.
How to play
- Pick a puzzle, or Today's fix. Read what's in the way.
- Press Sculpt the fix. Drag on the clay to work it with the tool you pick; drag the background to turn it. Fella stands beside the clay at his real size, and the ruler counts in Fellas, so you can measure your answer against the wall.
- Press Drop it in. Your sculpt lands on the board and Fella tries it. Press A and D or the arrows to take over, and Space to jump.
- If it doesn't work, Fella tells you how many Fellas short it is. Go back and try something else. Extra stars ask you to use a tool: paint it, smooth it, make both sides match.
- Want a challenge? Every puzzle has a par, the least clay that can do the job. Solve it with par plus a little and you earn a Genius medal, with par or less a crown. Solved it already? Press Hard: no meter, no glow, no hints, three tries.
What it teaches
Each puzzle is built around one skill from the studio: adding clay, carving it away, smoothing and flattening, painting, and sculpting both sides at once with Mirror. Solving a puzzle never needs a tool you haven't seen. When you want to keep going, press Keep it in the studio and your sculpt appears in My stuff as a normal sculpt.
Weight, silhouettes and floating
Later puzzles ask different questions of your clay. A heavy button needs enough volume, counted in scoops of clay. A lock with a shaped hole needs a key with the right silhouette, and the Front, Side and Top buttons let you look at it with no perspective, the way a designer checks a blueprint. A deep jam lake needs a boat: clay sinks, but a hollow shape holds air, so it pushes aside more jam than it weighs.
None of this is scripted per shape. The game measures your clay (how much, what outline, how much air it holds) and the world reacts to what you actually made.
The Gauntlet: a run with three hearts
Once you have solved a few puzzles, the Gauntlet on the menu throws one fresh puzzle after another at you, a little harder every round, from all six kinds. Each try that fails costs a heart, and three hearts end the run. Share it and a friend plays the very same puzzles from your link, to see if they can get further. Blitz is the same run against a three-minute clock.
Make a puzzle and send the link
Press Make a puzzle: pick a kind (a wall, a river, a heavy button, a lock, a lake), set how hard, name it, then solve it yourself. The clay you used becomes the score to beat, and the link you get carries only a few numbers, never a sculpt, so it is short and safe to send.
After the twelve there is the Lab: locks with a hole on the front, the side and the top. The key has to be the one shape that casts all three shadows, and the same locks turn up in the daily fix and, later in a run, the Gauntlet.
Some days change a rule for everyone: only eight strokes, add clay but never carve, one brush, a mirror you can't turn off, a pinch of clay, or no peeking, with the helper off.
Why a stair works and a plank doesn't
A bridge has to be longer than the river it crosses and rest on both banks. A step has to be tall enough that Fella can jump from it to the ledge, and low enough that he can jump onto it. The game doesn't tell you the numbers: it shows you Fella next to your clay and lets you measure.

Questions people ask
Do I need to know how to sculpt?
No. The first puzzle only needs you to drag out some clay. Each one after adds one idea.
Is it the same clay as the studio?
Yes: the same engine and brushes, in a smaller bench.
What is the Gauntlet?
A run mode: a new puzzle every round, harder as you go, with three hearts. It unlocks after you solve three puzzles. A link to your run gives a friend the exact same puzzles.
Can I make my own puzzles?
Yes. Press Make a puzzle on the menu, pick a kind and how hard, and solve it yourself. You get a link to send to a friend, and the clay you used is the score they have to beat.
