1. Export from the headset
In Clayground, export your sculpt as GLB. GLB keeps vertex colours and separate visible layers, which makes it the best choice for Blender. OBJ is geometry only.
2. Download over Wi-Fi
Enable Share in Capture, then open the address the headset shows on a computer or phone on the same network. You can also use the pairing page on clayvr.com: request a code in the headset and enter it on the site to browse and download your exports.
3. Import into Blender
In Blender choose File → Import → glTF 2.0 and pick the file. Blender’s importer turns the model’s vertex colours into a colour attribute that is multiplied into the material’s base colour, so your paint should show in Material Preview and rendered views. If you only see grey in Solid view, set Viewport Shading → Color to Attribute.
4. Clean up for rendering
Sculpted meshes are dense. Add a Smooth by Angle or Shade Smooth to remove faceting, and use a Decimate modifier if you need a lighter model for real-time use.
5. Preparing for 3D printing
Check the model in a slicer or Blender’s 3D-Print Toolbox for thin walls and holes, thicken delicate parts, and scale to your printer’s size.
