How do I open a glTF file online?
Drop the file and its picture files on this page and it appears in a 3D view you can spin and zoom. Nothing is uploaded.
What does the glTF viewer show?
The model lit from a few sides, its size, triangle and vertex counts, and the volume and surface area when the surface is closed. Save a picture of the view as a PNG.
Which programs open glTF files?
Blender, Unity, Godot, Unreal and every web 3D library, including three.js and Babylon.js.
Can I convert glTF to GLB or OBJ?
Yes. Open the file, then use the buttons under What’s inside. Everything this page reads from glTF fits in GLB: shape, colours, textures, bones and animation.
My glTF has textures. Do I drop them too?
Drop the .bin file and the picture files together with the .gltf. Names are matched whatever folder they came from.
Can I convert glTF to FBX?
Not here: FBX is a closed format and no browser tool writes it well. Blender does: import the glTF, then File, Export, FBX.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is opened and converted in your browser, and it stays on your device.
