The two types

What does GLB to 3MF keep?
3MF keeps the shape. It has no place for colours, textures, bones and animation, so those are dropped.
What size will the 3MF be?
3MF names its unit, and the page writes millimetres, which slicers expect. If the size looks off, change Write as under What’s inside.
Why does my 3MF lie on its side in the slicer?
GLB stands on its Y axis and slicers use Z. The Z up box, on by default, turns the model so it sits flat on the plate. Untick it for a program that expects Y up.
Will the 3MF print?
What’s inside says whether the surface is closed, which slicers need. If it is open, repair it in your slicer, Meshmixer or Blender first.
Is my file uploaded?
