CLAYGROUND / BRAND GUIDE / OCTOBER 2026
Clay you shape with your hands.
Real clay on a warm table, in daylight. The work is the hero; the type is round and confident; the colour comes from the sculpts, not from the chrome.

01 / The identity
The mark is the Coil: a thick lavender clay coil bent into a C, with a mint bead in the opening, the first shape anyone rolls from clay. Use the ink lockup on light grounds and the cream lockup on dark or coloured ones. Clear space is one bead diameter. Minimum lockup width: 140 px on screen or 35 mm in print. At small sizes use the flat vector Coil (coil.svg, or the one-colour coil-mono-ink.svg and coil-mono-chalk.svg), and at 24 px or less the flat one only. Never stretch it, recolour it or add the old mascot face to it.
The lavender blob face is retired as the brand. It lives on only as Phetta, the helper inside the browser studio.

Chalk is the ground. Ink carries all text and primary buttons (15.4:1 on chalk). Lavender is a fill, never text on light (1.75:1); Lavender Deep #8F73C4 works for large numerals. Studio Dark #141216 is for night sections. Rose, mint and butter are accents only: ticks, beads, tags.
03 / Typography
Fredoka 700 for display and the wordmark. Space Grotesk 400/500/700 for body and controls. DM Mono 500 for file information and small technical labels. Display sizes run 44 to 92 px. Fonts are under the SIL Open Font License; the files and licences are in the kit.
04 / Imagery and honesty
Real captures first: Quest screenshots, browser-studio frames and Emotionull's own photos. Label sped-up footage "sped up" and community work with the artist's handle. Cut-outs are made by colour keying with a drawn contact shadow, never re-lit or repainted.
One exception, by choice: the island scene on the home page and the Meta store covers (the floating island, rainbow, trees and clouds) was made with an image generator. The fellas, the type and every capture are real, and Clayground itself has no generative AI in it. Please describe the island that way, not as hand-sculpted.
